Cooling Off Period
Comics Mastermind™ has a three day (72 hour) cooling off period from the day / time of receiving your submission and payment. You can change your mind about an assessment during that time and receive a full refund.

Once the appointments are made, the fee is non-refundable.
After the fees have been paid and after the cooling off period has expired, Comics Mastermind™ will set up appointments for the duration of the service arrangement. Appointments will be made for a mutually convenient time for you and the coach or mentor. Appointments can be rescheduled, provided that three days (72 hours) notice is given. However, if you do not turn up, ring up or log on for a scheduled appointment, no other will be scheduled in its place and you will not be entitled to a refund.
The premium project mentoring sessions are completely confidential between the Comics Mastermind™ mentor and client.
The creativity coaching sessions are completely confidential. Although Comics Mastermind™ will know the identity of the client in order to make the initial appointments, we will not be privy to the content of each session and any discussion between coach and client.
The creativity coach will operate under the independent guidelines set out in her professional association’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.
General admission seating applies at masterclasses and short courses.
All bookings for masterclasses and short courses must be made prior to an event and must be paid in full via this website or another associated satellite website to guarantee registration. Receipts and email confirmation will be sent to you after your registration has been processed.
You will not receive a ticket, as your name will be held at the front door where you will be issued with a personal name tag at the event.
Members of partner organisations will need to provide proof of membership in the form of a membership card or other materials (eg. a subscriber / member membership email or receipt) upon registration, which will be verified before or on the day of the masterclass or other event. Non-compliance will result in an additional fee to be charged at the door to make up the Full admission fee.
Each masterclass or short course will advertise specific programmed break times.
Each event will advertise whether catering is part of the ticket price. If you have special dietary concerns, please advise the organisers prior to the event.
Photographs and Recordings
No unauthorised photographic, audio, video or other recording device may be used during any masterclass or short course session. Photographs during breaks are subject to the speaker’s approval.
Comics Mastermind™ reserves the right to make alterations to the masterclass, short course and other event program speakers, venue and timings. We will endeavour to inform registrants prior to the event.
Views expressed by speakers are their own. Comics Mastermind™ cannot accept liability for advice given, or views expressed, by any guest speakers or presenters at any of its masterclass, short courses or other events.
Refunds and Cancellations
Please make a considered purchasing decision as there will be no refunds or cancellations once a booking is made for a masterclass or short course unless the event is cancelled due to insufficient numbers or other reasons, or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.
In the unlikely event of a masterclass or short course being cancelled or postponed, a full refund will be made to registrants. Liability will be limited to the amount of the fee paid by the registrant. Comics Mastermind™ shall not be liable for any other expenditure, damage or loss incurred by the registrant.
Registrants can transfer their ticket to somebody else, provided Comics Mastermind™ receives email notification at least two days (48 hours) prior to the event.
Registrants should advise of any special access requirements at the time of booking for an event.

Where Comics Mastermind™ sponsors or co-brands a masterclass or other presentation through another event such as a festival, conference, convention or other, the host event will be responsible for ticketing, admission, programming and general entry requirements associated with that event. Comics Mastermind™ holds no responsibility or liability for the organisation and delivery of the host event.
